OUR CREDO | OUR TEN COMMANDMENTS | OUR NORTH-STAR
Karunachal Foundation
1. We believe in being resource-conscious and environment friendly
Therefore, we will ensure that we make an effort to leave the world for our future generations a little better than how we found it by optimising the resources we consume. We will adopt best global and indigenous practices to aid our continuous attempts to ensure sustained and efficient use of resources, keeping in mind the best interest of the people, the animals, the trees, the water bodies, the air and the land that helps us flourish.
2. We believe in high-impact, quality services and products
Therefore, we innovate to provide our support in terms of process-ease, technology know-how and equitable prices to all stakeholders for harmonious living.
3. We believe that we should work by keeping the cause above self-interest
Therefore, we carry out any action with utmost importance to the cause while taking equal care of ourselves. We take things as they are and do what is required for the cause without allowing societal norms, general beliefs and people’s perspectives to adversely affect us.
4. We believe that our work is our brand
Therefore, we strive for excellence and put our best-foot forward. We solely rely on our internal strengths and are not controlled by external situations that hit our internal weakness so as to constantly deliver our best even if that requires stretching to growing limits on some days.
5. We believe that we must love what we do
Therefore, we pour our hearts into any action we perform. We transcend language, boundaries, gender, race, caste, religion, speciesm or anything else that may create a sense of ‘divide’; we do not let any form of discrimination influence how we operate even in the smallest of tasks, because all tasks are equally important.
6. We believe that out-of-the-box-thinking keeps the creativity flowing
Therefore, we stimulate our brains through various channels to keep our creative juices flowing. We encourage new ideas and innovative ways of working that empower us to take bold decisions with confidence and clarity, so much so that we don't even see the box.
7. We believe that retrospections are a great way to learn and have a positive bias towards learning
Therefore, we take a step back and analyse situations from a neutral point of view. We learn from our mistakes, community's mistakes and global mistakes to make way for new ideas that we may have ignored as we move towards an inclusive learning and evolving culture.
8.We believe in being responsible towards all our stakeholders
Therefore, we value, appreciate and work towards the common goals of all those who are involved in our growth. Our responsibility is equal towards all stakeholders and we walk the line of fine balance carefully, sharing profits in goodwill and contributing to mutual growth of the community.
9.We believe in working in collaboration with partner-organisations for the well-being of the community
Therefore, we actively seek partnerships and initiatives that work in tandem with partner organisations including the government and large corporations for designing and implementing policies/agendas to extend support and bring maximum value for all stakeholders.
10. We believe in working in collaboration with organisations/individuals in sports, education, technology, health and hospitality sectors for providing healthy learning outcomes and equal opportunities in the community
Therefore, we seek partnerships and collaboration opportunities for building initiatives within the community for providing them with expertise to be self-sufficient, resilient, strong, safe and inclusive.
In spite of all the above, we will however have shortcomings; hence we are humble and open to criticism.
‘Who we are’ is not defined by the way we behave when everything around keeps us going.
‘Who we are’ is defined by the way we behave when everything around discourages us from continuing.
'Collaborative Creation is Multiplication;
Universal Love is Pure;
Unconditional Service is Inclusive'
If we had to represent our credo as a song, Louis Armstrong's 'What A Wonderful World' comes closest :)
